Fort Wayne, IND. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team left Indiana with a loss as they were defeated by (9) Indiana Tech by a score of 20-4 on Saturday afternoon.

The first quarter was Ottawa's most successful offensively, scoring two goals. Indiana Tech was more successful, scoring six. A 6-1 second quarter by the Warriors gave them a 12-3 halftime lead. Indiana Tech kept their momentum going into the second half, extending their lead with 4-1 and 4-0 third and fourth quarters.

Brianna Valadao led Ottawa with two goals. Rilee Barnett and Ashlyn Lopez scored one each. KaiAnna Senne made one assist. Shelby Bearden made ten saves in goal.

Ottawa (2-4, 1-0 HAAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, March 12 as they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for a game at Mount Mercy University. That game will be played at 6:00 PM.
