OTTAWA, Kan.- The Ottawa men's lacrosse team finished their home schedule with a loss as they were defeated by Midland by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday evening at AdventHealth Field.
Midland scored first, and the Braves responded with a pair of
Braydon Francis goals to take the lead. Midland tied the game back up in the second quarter with another goal before Ottawa took the lead back and stretched it with goals by
Mark Spells and Francis. Going into halftime, Ottawa lead 4-2. Midland tied the game up with a 2-0 third quarter, and took the lead and eventually the win with a 2-0 fourth quarter.
Braydon Francis led Ottawa with three goals,
Mark Spells scored one. Francis made one assist.
Dylan Murano made 12 saves in goal.
Ottawa (0-7, 0-5 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, April 5 as they travel to Dubuque, Iowa for a game at Clarke University. That game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
