OSKALOOSA, Iowa - The Ottawa men's soccer team earned their third result of the season as they tied (2) William Penn by a score of 0-0 on Saturday evening.
Though both teams had their chances, neither could find the back of the net. William Penn outshot Ottawa in both total shots and shots on goal by margins of 18 to 10 and five to two. David Martinez made five saves en route to his first clean sheet of the season.
Ottawa (1-0-2, 0-0-0 KCAC) returns to the field on Monday, September 1 as they complete their Iowa trip in Des Moines at Grand View University. That game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM
