OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team finished their homestand with a loss as they were defeated by Tabor by a score of 2-0 on Saturday evening at AdventHealth Field.
Tabor scored a goal in the 37th minute, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. They doubled that lead with a 76th minute goal, resulting in a 2-0 final score.
Tabor lead total shots eleven to four and shots on goal eight to two.
Makena Tapia made six saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (2-5-1, 1-3-0 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 1 as they travel to Kansas City, Missouri for an away game at Avila University. That game is set to kick off at 1:00 PM.
