Saturday is the 72nd meeting between Ottawa University and Friends University. The Braves lead the series 39-31-1 but the Falcons are on a two game winning streak. Friends won the game last season in Wichita, 38-7, on Sept. 7. Ottawa has not won at home against Friends since Oct. 23, 2021. OU won the game 28-14. The first time the two teams met was on Oct. 24, 1914 in Wichita. Friends won the game, 21-2.
OU has a record of 31-99-1 against ranked teams and is 15-46-1 against ranked teams in Ottawa.
The Falcons are on a five game winning streak after defeating (RV) Evangel University 53-0 last Saturday in Wichita. Friends had 546 yards of offense, holding the Valor to 124 yards.
