OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's wrestling team returns to action in 2026 at the Jet Open in Wichita, Kansas. The Jet Open is being hosted by Newman University.
Ottawa last competed at the OKWU Open in December of 2025. At the Open,
Kallen Koelzer picked up a technical fall win in the 125lb weight class.
Asher Larson won match in the 141lb weight class. In the 149lb weight division,
Colston Parks secured a win.
Cale Hein won three matches in the 157lb weight division.
Trenten Harris won two matches in the 165lb weight class.
Jaelyn Sides took down two opponents in the 184lb.
Stevie Elwell placed third overall in the 285lb weight class, Elwell went 4-1 on the day (including two falls). Zayne Nowak won two matches also in the 285lb weight class.
Ottawa is Receiving Votes in the latest NAIA Top 20 Poll.
Julian Gorring is 13
th in the 184lb weight division.
