KANSAS — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will conduct a virtual media day for the 2025-26 competitive cheer and competitive dance seasons, the conference office announced Wednesday. The event will take place Friday, January 23, starting at 12 PM CST. The 2026 KCAC Competitive Cheer and Competitive Dance Virtual Media Day is presented by IMA Financial Group.
The format of the event will change for the 2025-26 season. Instead of a live event conducted on social media, as has been the tradition the past several years, interviews with coaches will be pre-recorded and released at 20-minute intervals throughout the day, and will be available to view on the Urban Edge Network (UEN). To view these broadcasts, visit the Urban Edge Network, or download the UEN app from the Google Play store or Apple App store.
NOTE: The broadcasts will be found on the general UEN "Upcoming" Schedule page, not the KCAC page. Any media-type broadcasts go through the general UEN portion of their platform.
