OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa men's wrestling team is headed to the KCAC Championships on Saturday in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Last time out for Ottawa, Ottawa went to the Missouri Valley Open. Skyler Anderson won three matches in the 125lb weight division. Jayden Nowell earned fifth place with five wins in the 141lb weight class. Asher Larson won three matches in the 141lb. Cale Hein won two matches in the 157lb weight class. Cooper Webb defeated three opponents in the 285lb, Steven Elwell won four matches and Zayne Nowak won two in the 285lb also.

In 2024, Ottawa finished in sixth place at the KCAC Championships. Jayden Nowell won one match on a fall over Warrezi Mitchell (Bethany) in the 141lb weight class. Asher Larson defeated Jace Goebel (Jamestown) on a fall in the 141lb weight class as well. Spencer Rochelle came in fourth in the 184lb weight class and Dylan Weidl placed fifth in the 285lb weight division; Weidl defeated Jeremiah Sanders (Avila) on a fall in the fifth-place match.
