OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team were defeated once again as they fell 31-0 to (RV) Benedictine on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field.
Benedictine had an offensively productive first half, scoring eleven goals in the first quarter and fourteen goals in the second for a 25-0 halftime lead. The Ravens brought home their win with 4-0 and 2-0 third and fourth quarters.
Benedictine led total shots 73 to seven and shots on goal 45 to five. Benedictine was 8-8 on clears, Ottawa was 4-28. Benedictine picked up 64 ground balls to Ottawa's 22. The Ravens won faceoffs 27-8.
Dylan Murano made ten saves in goal for Ottawa,
Zander Wood made four.
Ottawa (0-2, 0-0 HAAC) returns to the field again on Tuesday, March 3 as they host Webber International University at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.
