OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team suffered another loss as they fell to (8) Webber International by a score 28-3 on Tuesday evening at AdventHealth Field.
Webber scored early and often, leading 12-1 after the first quarter and 22-2 after a 10-1 second quarter. The Warriors brought home their victory with 4-0 and 2-1 third and fourth quarters.
Antonio Bell,
Cameron Brown, and
Riley Daniel each scored a goal for Ottawa.
Dylan Murano made thirteen saves for the Braves.
Webber International led total shots 55 to nine and shots on goal 41 to six. The Warriors won 27 faceoffs to Ottawa's eight, and collected 49 ground balls to Ottawa's 23. Webber was 10 for 13 in clear attempts, Ottawa was 8 for 21.
Ottawa (0-3, O-0 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, March 7 as they host Midland University at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
