SHAWNEE, Okla. — The Ottawa University softball team fell 9-0 in six innings to no. 6 Grand View University at the NAIA SB Invite on Saturday afternoon.

First Inning
Grand View scratched across a run after an error and an RBI groundout.
Second Inning
A two-run homer pushed the Vikings ahead 3-0.
Third Inning
Grand View added an unearned run after an error extended the frame. Ottawa threatened in the bottom half when
Lilli Richerson doubled to left, but the Braves couldn't cash in.
Fourth Inning
Two more Viking runs made it 6-0.
Cassi Rodgers entered in relief.
Fifth Inning
The Braves mounted their strongest rally.
Bellamy was thrown out at the plate on a bang-bang play, halting what could have been a breakthrough inning and shifting the momentum back to Grand View.
Sixth Inning
Grand View strung together three runs on consecutive RBI hits. Ottawa didn't quit —
Braxton Stainbrook was hit by a pitch to start the bottom half — but the Braves were unable to push a run across.
