MARSHALL, Mo. - The Ottawa University men's volleyball team left everything on the floor Tuesday night, pushing (4) Missouri Valley College to five sets before dropping a 3-2 decision (27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 18-25, 13-15).

Ottawa opened confidently behind early kills from
Kadeem Morris and
Marko Zolnjan. The Braves hit an efficient .394 in the frame, spreading the offense and limiting errors.

Set 2 – Ottawa 25, Missouri Valley 22
The Braves stayed aggressive in the second, hitting .391 as an offense. Zolnjan and

Quentin Le Dortz orchestrated the attack with precision. Ottawa controlled the tempo and took a 2-0 match lead.
Set 3 – Missouri Valley 25, Ottawa 23
Missouri Valley responded with improved efficiency (.387) and steadier passing. Ottawa remained competitive, hitting .357, but late-point execution favored the home side as the Vikings extended the match.
Set 4 – Missouri Valley 25, Ottawa 18
The Vikings seized momentum in the fourth, capitalizing on nine Ottawa attack errors. After hitting above .350 in each of the first three sets, the Braves were held to .059 in the stanza as Missouri Valley forced a deciding fifth.
Set 5 – Missouri Valley 15, Ottawa 13
The final set was tightly contested throughout. Ottawa battled point-for-point, getting timely swings from Zolnjan and Lazic, but Missouri Valley hit a blistering .467 in the frame. A late push wasn't enough as the Vikings closed out the match 15-13.
