OTTAWA, Kan. – The 2025-26 All-KCAC Women's Basketball Teams were announced Wednesday by the conference office, with three student-athletes from Ottawa University earning recognition for their performances this season.

Sophomore Dominique Schutte was named Third Team All-KCAC, while freshman McKinley Kruger earned Honorable Mention honors. Fellow freshman Clare Williams was selected to the KCAC Freshman Team.

Schutte, a guard from Halstead, Kan., adds Third Team All-KCAC honors to an already impressive résumé after being named KCAC Freshman of the Year and earning a spot on the KCAC Freshman Team in 2024-25. In 2025-26, she played in 28 games with 14 starts, leading the Braves with 12.8 points per game while averaging 2.2 rebounds per contest. She shot 37.1 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from three-point range, and an outstanding 95.6 percent from the free throw line (43-for-45).

Schutte's 80 made three-pointers this season rank fourth in the Ottawa single-season record book. She also moved into sixth place in program history with 157 career three-point field goals.
Kruger, a freshman from Silver Lake, Kan., was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC and was the only freshman recognized on either the First, Second, Third, or Honorable Mention teams. She started all 28 games for the Braves, averaging 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Kruger shot 39 percent from the floor, 26.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 84.4 percent from the free throw line.

Williams, a freshman from Palmyra, Mo., earned a spot on the KCAC Freshman Team after playing in 28 games and making 26 starts. She averaged 7.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Williams shot 47.8 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three-point range.

As a team, the Braves finished the 2025-26 season with a 15-13 overall record and placed ninth in the KCAC standings with a 10-12 conference mark.
