OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa men's wrestling team will dual Saint Mary in Wilson Field House on Thursday. Ottawa will honor three seniors,
Jaron Alf,
Dylan Weidl and
Spencer Rochelle.
Ottawa last competed at the NEO Open last weekend.
Kallen Koelzer earned fourth place in the 125lb weight division, Koelzer won three matches (including one by fall).
Amiri Mumba also earned fourth place in the 197lb weight class, Mumba won two matches and came up short in the third place match.
Asher Larson finished in second place in the 141lb weight division, Larson won three straight matches and came up just short on a 20-19 decision in the championship match.
Jayden Nowell took home fifth place in the 141lb weight class, Nowell went 3-2 at the Open.
Spencer Rochelle placed second overall in the 174lb, Rochelle secured three wins on the day.
Ottawa is Receiving Votes in the latest poll.
Julian Gorring is 17
th in the 184lb weight division.
Ottawa is 5-1 all time against Saint Mary.
