ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team suffered another loss as they fell at the hands of (9) Missouri Baptist by a score of 21-5 on Wednesday afternoon in St. Louis.
Missouri Baptist scored early and often, netting the first seven goals of the game and leading 8-2 after a quarter. a 5-2 second quarter saw the Spartans lead 13-4 at halftime, and 4-0 and 4-1 third and fourth quarters put the game away.

Saniya Watt made ten saves in goal for the Braves.
Missouri Baptist led total shots 38 to 15 and shots on goal 27 to eight. Missouri Baptist won 19 draw controls, Ottawa won eight. Ottawa collected 21 ground balls to Missouri Baptist's 16. Missouri Baptist was 13 for 17 in clear attempts, Ottawa was 8 for 19.
Ottawa (0-6, 0-0 HAAC) returns to the field on Saturday, March 14 as they travel to Atchison, Kansas for their conference opener at (1) Benedictine College. That game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
