RICHMOND, Ky. - The Ottawa University beach volleyball team faced a pair of strong NCAA Division I opponents on Friday, falling 5-0 to Chattanooga and 5-0 to Morehead State at the EKU Beach Volleyball Facility.
Match 1: Chattanooga 5, Ottawa 0
Chattanooga controlled the dual from start to finish, securing straight-set victories across all five courts.
Ottawa's No. 1 pair of
Brittan Lee and
Carson Schuman battled but fell 21-8, 21-11. The Braves showed flashes throughout the lineup, continuing to compete against a deep Chattanooga squad.
Chattanooga clinched the match quickly, taking courts 2, 4, and 5 before finishing off the sweep.

In the second dual of the day, Ottawa showed improvement and pushed Morehead State in several spots, highlighted by a competitive showing on court three.

Madison Brauner forced a tighter contest, falling 21-19, 21-13 in one of the most competitive matches of the day. Lee and Schuman again led the Braves at the top spot, while multiple pairs showed resilience against a physical Morehead State lineup.
Morehead State secured the win with straight-set victories across all five courts.
