FULTON, Mo. — (1) Ottawa University delivered a dominant performance on both sides of the ball, shutting out (RV) William Woods 47-0 behind a high-powered passing attack and a relentless defensive effort.

First Quarter
Ottawa wasted no time setting the tone. After a strong defensive stand that pushed William Woods backwards, the Braves capitalized early as
Anna Anderson connected with
Marley Spielberg for a 2-yard touchdown pass. The successful conversion gave Ottawa a quick 7-0 lead.
The Braves defense immediately imposed its will, forcing negative plays and preventing William Woods from gaining any rhythm offensively.
Second Quarter
Ottawa's offense continued to roll in the second quarter, led by Anderson through the air. She found Spielberg again—this time for a 30-yard touchdown—to extend the lead.
Later in the quarter, Anderson connected with
Olga Sotillo for a 15-yard touchdown, pushing the advantage to 20-0.
While William Woods threatened briefly after a turnover deep in Ottawa territory, the Braves defense stood tall, coming up with a goal-line stop to preserve the shutout.
Third Quarter
The Braves put the game out of reach in the third quarter with a dominant stretch on both sides of the ball.
Anderson added a 7-yard rushing touchdown before orchestrating multiple quick scoring drives. Ottawa capitalized on strong field position and defensive stops to build a commanding 41-0 lead heading into the final quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Ottawa continued its dominance into the fourth. Anderson connected with Sotillo for another touchdown early in the quarter, and later added a rushing score to cap off the performance.
The Braves defense sealed the shutout with continued pressure, forcing negative plays and limiting William Woods to just 153 total yards.
