SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A trio of Ottawa University runners made the short trip down to Springfield to compete in one of the more unique settings in recent history, with the starter's pistol for both races firing well after sunset. Brianna Valadao again led the Braves, battling through muggy conditions to post a time of 21:13 in the 5k. Senior Daitlyn Webb finished in 23:46 on the night, with Grant Miglicco completing the men's 6k in 25:50, with a career-best pace of 6:56/mile.

The Braves are on course next on October 16 in the Mike Spielman Classic, hosted by Baker University.
