Biography

2024-25: Schutte played in 28 games, making 26 starts as a freshman. She earned KCAC Freshman of the Year honors and was named to the All-KCAC Freshmen Team. Schutte averaged 11.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. She shot 34.6 percent from the floor, 34.4 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 73.6 percent from the free throw line. Schutte had 13 assists, seven blocks, and 19 steals. 

High School: Schutte lettered in basketball, volleyball, and track at Halstead High School. She was part of STUCO, 4-H, KAYS, SALT, Math Team, and STAND.  Schutte was named the HHS Student Body President. She helped her team to a state tournament appearance her freshman season and the Dragons were twice sub-state runner up in volleyball. As a sophomore, Schutte was a second team All-CKL selection, earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Marion and Haven Classic. In her junior season, she was named First Team All-CKL, earned KSHSAA Honorable Mention honors, was named Sports in Kansas 3A Second Team All-State, was a nominee for Defensive Player of the Year, earned KBCA Honorable Mention honors, and was a VYPE Honorable Mention selection. As a senior, Schutte was named Most Inspirational Player and earned All-Tournament Team honors at the 16th Annual Marion Classic. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 51st Annual Haven Wildcat Classic. Schutte was a unanimous First Team All-CKL selection, earned First Team KSHAA 3A All-State, was a KBCA 3A First Team selection, earned First Team Sports in Kansas honors, was a First Team VYPE Small School selection, earned First Team Honors from the Wichita Eagle, and was a Second Team All-Metro selection.

On the volleyball court, Schutte was a three-time First Team All-CKL selection and a Second Team All-State selection. She earned Second Team All-CKL honors as a sophomore. As a member of the Dragon track and field team, Schutte was a three-time Kansas State Track and Field Meet qualifier. She helped the 4x800M Relay team to a second-place finish as a freshman. Individually, she placed fifth as a freshman and sixth as a sophomore in the 1600M, finished fourth as a junior in the 3200M, and placed of fourth in the high jump.

Personal: Daughter of Derek and Diana Schutte ... communications major. She played travel ball for Southwest Elite under coach Dylan Evans.
