2025-26: Cruz appeared in four games as a junior. She averaged 1.5 points and 0.3 rebounds per game. Cruz was a perfect 2-for-2 from the floor, 1-for-1 from behind the 3-pt line, and was 1-for-2 from the free throw line. 

2024-25: As a sophomore, Cruz played in six games at the varsity level. She averaged 1.5 points and 0.3 rebounds per game. Cruz shot 40 percent from the floor and 16.7 percent from behind the 3-pt lie. 

2023-24: Cruz appeared in five varsity games as a freshman. She averaged 3.4 points per game, shooting 54.5 percent from the floor, 57.1 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 50 percent from the free throw line. 
 
High School: Cruz lettered in basketball at Canutillo High School. She helped lead the Eagles to a 2020-21 2-5A District Championship, a 5A Bi-District Championship, and a 5A Area Championship. Cruz was a two-time 2-5A First Team All-District selection and earned 1-5A Second Team All-District honors. She was the 12^th player to score 1,000 or more points in a career for the Eagles girls basketball program and holds the school record for assists in a season with 112.

Personal: Daughter of Flor Lopez and Jaime Cruz ... mechanical engineering major. She played travel ball for the El Paso Wild under coach Jaime Cruz and the West Texas Blazers for coach Bob Jones. Cruz loves to collect hoodies and shoes. Her favorite player is Stephen Curry and her favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
