High School: Darby lettered in flag football, wrestling, track, and cross country at North Pole High School. She was team captain for her women's flag team for three seasons. Darby was named All-American, earning third place in 2020. She placed fourth at the Alaska State Wrestling Tournament in 2019 and earned second place in 2021.

Personal: Daughter of Jamie and Jeff Darby ... Exercise Science major. Darby is also a member of the OU Women's Flag Football program.
