Chase Dippel was the first men's tennis signing since the 1992-93 season.

Ottawa University: As a member of the OU men’s basketball team Dippel is coming off of a season where he averaged 15 points per game and was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. He earned KCAC Player of the Week honors once as a sophomore.
 
High School: Dippel was a four year letterwinner on the tennis court at Smoky Valley High School. He was a state champion in singles his junior season and finished second as a senior. Dippel helped lead the Vikings to a state championship his senior season on the tennis court.

Personal: Son of Ed and Syd Dippel ... born May 29, 1991 ... physical education major. Dippel was a member of the OU men's basketball team, finishing his eligibility in 2012-13.
