Biography

High School: Keener lettered in baseball, basketball, and football at Abilene High School. He helped the Cowboys to four Kansas Baseball State Tournaments, finishing third in 2024. Keener led AHS to two, Kansas State Basketball Tournaments (2023-24, 2024-25). He played in the National Baseball Congress World Series in 2025. Keener was named First Team All-League as a utility player in 2023 and 2024. He was a First Team All-League selection as an infielder in 2025. Keener was named Honorable Mention All-State in 2025. 

Personal: Son of Robb and Katie Keener ... exercise science major. He played travel ball for the Junction City Brigade under coach Micah Cannon.
