2012: In his first season of competitive golf, Gallentine played in 17 rounds, had 1,450 strokes, a round low of 80, and he averaged 85.29 per round. He finished 38th at the Ottawa Fall Invitational with a two round total of 170. Gallentine placed 64th with a 92 on day one and a 103 on day two at the South Central Kansas Fall Invitational. He finished tied for 41st with a two round total of 166 at the Swede Fall Invitational. Gallentine shot a 87 in round one and a 83 in round two to tie for 36th at the Ottawa Spring Invitational. He tied for 68th at the Bethel Spring Invitational with a two round total of 166. Gallentine shot a two round total of 165 to finish tied for 33rd at the Sterling Invitational. Finished with a two round total of 164 at the Central Methodist Invitational. At the KCAC Championships, placed 34th with a 83 in both the first and second round and a 88 in round three (254).

Personal: Son of Rex and Connie Gallentine ... born April 26, 1991 ... biology major. He is the cousin of former Brave, NAIA Football All-American and First Team All-KCAC performer, Taylor Burnett.
