2013: In his junior season, Garcia ran a season’s best time of 56.03 in the 400M at the Tabor College Invitational. He ran a time of 2:08.24 in the 800M at the Wildcat Open.

2012: Garcia placed 16th in the 400M and finished 31st in the 800M at the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

2011: In his first collegiate race, Garcia ran a time of 25.69 in the 200M at the Bulldog Invitational and finished 17th in the 400M. He finished 12th in the 400M and 25th in the 800M at the Bison Invitational. Garcia ran a 2:07.35 in the 800M at the Wildcat Open. He placed 18th in the 800M at the KCAC Track and Field Championships.

York College: Garcia participated in cross country at York College in the fall semester before transferring to OU.

High School: Garcia earned three letters in cross country, three in track and one in swimming for Great Bend High School.

Personal: Son of Juan and Cecilia Garcia ... born October 18, 1991 ... biology major. Garcia’s favorite food is Italian and television show is “Family Guy.”
