Biography

2012-13: In her sophomore season, Betts earned her second letter in cheer for OU. She helped the cheer team to a third place finish at the NCA/NDA NAIA National Championships in the Small Co-ed Division. The Small Co-ed team won the 2012-13 NAIA South Regional Small Co-ed Championship at the the Oklahoma City regional.

2011-12: Betts lettered in her first collegiate season as a member of the OU Spirit Team. She was part of the squad that took home a first, second, and third place finish at the inaugural Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Cheer & Dance Championships. Betts helped the cheer squad to a second place finish in small coed, earning a bronze bid to Nationalsat the NAIA West Regional Qualifier hosted by Oklahoma City University.
 
High School:
Betts earned varsity letters in cheerleading and track for F.L. Schlagle High School. She earned the Stallions Most Athletic Award, participated at the Kansas State Track and Field Meet as a junior and has earned two national champion jackets in cheerleading. Betts had been in cheer and dance since the age of three. She is a level 5 member of the Nash Jem Elite, a member of the Windsteppers Track Team, and the Kansas City Cougars Track Team.

Personal: Daughter of Rhonda Bridgewarter ... born September 10, 1993 ... biology major. Betts is also a member of the OU track and field team. She holds the school record in the triple jump (36-09.75) and earned All-KCAC honors in 2012 and in 2013.
