2014: In her redshirt sophomore season, Stengel earned First Team All-KCAC honors and was named Co-KCAC Goalkeeper of the Year. She finished the year ranked 14th in the NAIA in GAA (0.630). Stengel had a record of 12-2-5 with 15 starts for the Lady Braves. She played in 1,430 minutes, only allowed 10 goals, tallied 53 saves, and finished with nine shutouts. Stengel is ranked fourth (13) and is tied for fifth (12) in the OU record book in single season goalkeeping victories. She is fifth (57) and sixth (53) in single season saves. Stengel is also ranked first (0.52) and third (0.62) in single season GAA.
2013: Stengel took a medical redshirt as a sophomore.
2012: Stengel appeared in and started 18 games in goal for the Lady Braves. She earned KCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors once. Stengel played 1545:29 minutes, allowed nine goals, had 0.524 GAA, tallied 57 saves, finished the season with a 13-3-0 record, and had nine shutouts. She finished the season ranked fifth in the NAIA in GAA (0.524).
High School: Stengel earned three letters in soccer for Arvada West High School. She was a Second Team All-Conference selection and earned Academic All-State honors. She was selected to play on an all-star team in February of 2010 in Fort Collins, Colo.
