2014: McHale took a medical redshirt her sophomore season.

2013: In her first collegiate season, McHale appeared in seven games and made two starts in the outfield. She earned her first collegiate start against Friends University (4/13) and scored her first run versus Southwestern College (4/6).

High School: McHale, an outfielder, was a three year letter winner on the softball diamond for Ralston Valley High School. She helped lead them to a state runner up in 2009 and to the state final four in 2010. McHale was a Second Team All-Conference performer in 2010 and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 2009. She earned 2010 Honorable Mention Academic All-State honors. In 2011 McHale hit .375 and had an on base percentage of .453.
