High School: Linton was a two year letterman in wrestling for Kingwood Park High School. She was a two-time Texas State Tournament participant (2013, 2014). Linton also participated at the Texas State Freestyle Championship and the Freestyle National Championship. She placed sixth at nationals in 2014, earning All-American honors.
