2014-15: Okoronkwu redshirted his first season at OU.

Cloud Community College: Okoronkwo earned two letters on the basketball court at CCC. As a sophomore he appeared in 27 games, averaging 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Okoronkwo shot 46.5 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from the 3-pt line, and 60.2 percent from the free throw line. He scored a career high 17 points against Barton Community College (1/18/14). In his first collegiate season, Okoronkwo appeared in 27 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He shot 45.2 percent from the floor, 50 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 54.5 percent from the free throw line. Okoronkwo scored a season high seven points twice with the last being against York College JV (12/8/12).

High School: Okoronkwo lettered on the basketball court for Topeka West High School. He averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game. Okoronkwo earned Second Team All-City honors and was voted to the Centennial League All-Defensive Team.
