2015: Halsey appeared in 148 sets in her junior season for the Braves. She finished with three kills, 26 assists, 24 service aces, and 396 digs. Halsey had a season high 24 digs versus Rocky Mountain College at the NAIA National Tournament. She had 17 multi-dig matches.

Johnson County Community College: Halsey was a two year letterman on the volleyball court at Johnson County Community College. In 2014, she played in 34 matches and 120 sets for JCCC. Halsey finished the year with 19 service aces, 377 digs, and averaged 3.14 digs per set. She helped the Cavaliers to an overall record of 22-12 and a Jayhawk East Conference record of 6-3. Halsey had a career high 26 digs twice with the last being against Colby Community College (9/27/14) and a career high three service aces versus Iowa Central Community College (9/5/14). In her freshman season she played in 111 sets and 37 matches for JCCC. Halsey tallied 204 digs for an average of 1.84 per set. Her 204 digs were the fifth most on the team. Halsey had a season high 24 digs in her first match of the season against East Central College (8/23). She helped the Cavaliers to the 2013 NJCAA Division II National Tournament and finished 12 against Des Moines Area Community College (11/21/13) and 11 versus Oakland Community College (11/23/13). Helsey earned the Cavalier Award from JCCC.

High School: At Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Helsey was a two year starter for the Saints. She was also a four year starter on the Saint softball team. Helsey earned Honorable Mention All-Eastern Kansas League honors as a junior. She helped the Saints softball program earn three EKL titles and post a state runner-up finish in 2012 and third place finishes in 2010 and 2011. Helsey excelled in the classroom as well and was named to the President’s Honor Roll.
