High School:

McGhee lettered in bowling, FFA, and marching band at Clear Falls High School. She was a two-time All-District selection, and helped CFHS to three State appearances. McGhee helped the Knights to a third place finish in the region in 2015 and a second place finish in 2017. She earned eighth in the region in both 2015 and 2017. CFHS finished first at the City Tournament in 2015 and earned first in 2016 at the Generation Gap Tournament. For two years McGhee was Vice President of Texas Youth Leaders and on the GHUSBC Board where she was director. She was part of the Teacher Education Training Program and was selected to the National History Honor Society. McGhee showed sheep for FFA, was part of the Nursery Landscape Team, and competed in Ag Mech Contests.
