2017: In her first season in an OU uniform, Whittington appeared in 157 sets and 43 matches. She finished the year with 304 kills, a .093 attacking percentage, 41 assists, 19 service aces, 401 digs, and 34 blocks. Whittington had a season high 15 kills against McPherson College (10/14).
Northern Iowa Area Community College: North Iowa Area Community College: In her sophomore season, Whittington played in 32 matches for NIACC. She finished the season with 323 kills, 21 assists, 28 service aces, 258 digs, and 40 blocks. She averaged 2.81 kills per set. Whittington had 14 matches with 10 or more kills. She tied her career high in kills with 21 against Waldorf University JV (10/27). As a freshman, Whittington played in 34 matches. She tallied 420 kills, 24 assists, 51 service aces, 413 digs, and 55 blocks. Whittington averaged 3.39 kills per set. She set her career high in kills with 21 against Southwestern College (10/28).
High School: Whittington earned four letters in volleyball and basketball for Grand View Christian High School. She also earned five letters in softball for the Thunder. Whittington helped GVCHS to two Iowa State Volleyball Tournaments. She played club volleyball for IPVA under head coach Joe Morton. There she helped IPVA to a third place finish at nationals.
