Mississippi Valley State University: Chalmers played in 25 matches, making 14 starts as a sophomore. She finished the season with 83 kills, five assists, seven service aces, 96 digs, and six blocks. In her freshman season, Chalmers played in 29 matches, starting 21. She had 174 kills, 12 assists, 12 service aces, 173 digs, and 28 blocks.

High School: Chalmers lettered in volleyball at Cedar Hill High School. She earned First Team All-District honors. Chalmers played club volleyball for 360 Volleyball under head coach Cathy Carter.

Personal: Daughter of Paula Young and Michael Chalmers … human services major. She is the cousin of former KU standout guard Mario Chalmers. Chalmers has one sister, Mia Chalmers.
