Biography

2017-18: Bengtson played in 57 games her freshman season. She finished with a pin total of 10,157, 2934 in Tier 1 events and 7223 in Tier 2 Events. Bengtson had a season high 1163 pins and a 193.833 average at the Leatherneck Classic.

High School: Bengtson lettered in bowling at Forest Lake Senior High School. She was a three-time All-Conference performer for the Rangers. Bengtson participated in the USBC Youth Championship, finishing first in 2011 and third in 2009. She placed first at the 2008 Minnesota State Finals. Bengston helped her team to the 2016 Minnesota Qualifying Tournament. She finished third at the 2016 and 2015 Take Minnesota By Storm State Championship, was the 2015 Take Minnesota By Storm District Champion, earned first place in the 2016 and 2015 Central Conference Regular Season Championships, won the 2015 Central Conference Tournament Championship, and earned a runner-up finish at the 2016, 2015, and 2013 Central Conference Tournament. Bengtson was a two-time Conference All-Honor Team. She has been bowling since the age of eight and was twice named team captain for Forest Lake.
