High School: Thompson earned four letters in basketball, football, and track for Burlingame High School. On the basketball court, he helped lead the Bearcats to a third place finish at state in 2016-17 and to two, league championships. Thompson was a First Team All-State selection. As a member of the BHS football team, he helped lead the Bearcats to two, appearances in Sub-State. Thompson was a First Team All-League selection and earned Second Team All-State.
