Biography

2019: In her first season in an OU uniform, Wingerter appeared in 28 matches. She had 62 kills, three assists, 24 blocks, and 25 digs. Wingerter had a career high six kills against Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a career high four dig versus Marian University.

Fort Scott Community College: Wingerter earned two letters on the volleyball court at FSCC. She was named to the 2018 Fort Scott All-Tournament Team and earned Second Team All-Conference and All-District honors. Wingerter appeared in 37 matches as a sophomore. She had 367 kills, 63 digs, and 53 blocks. Wingerter had a career high 24 kills against Illinois Central College (10/13/18). In her freshman season, she appeared in 25 matches. Wingerter had 78 kills, 32 digs, and 25 blocks.

High School: Wingerter earned seven athletic letters at Tonganoxie High School. She helped THS to the 2015 and 2016 Kansas State Volleyball Tournament. Wingerter played in the 2016-17 All-Star Game. She was named to the Tonganoxie All-Tournament team, earned Honorable Mention All-State honors, was a First Team All-League selection and earned All-Area honors in 2017.

Personal: Daughter of Buffie and Mike Wingerter … exercise science major. Wingerter played club volleyball for Pride.
