2019-20: Vaughn played in 27 games, making 25 starts as a sophomore. She averaged 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Vaughn shot 32.4 percent from the floor, 17.4 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 63.7 percent from the free throw line. She scored a career high 19 points and pulled down a career high 15 points versus Southwestern College (11/16). Vaughn also had a career high six assists twice with the last being against York College (2/12) and a career high four steals three times with the last being against McPherson College (1/13). She finished the season ranked 49th in NAIA Division II in defensive rebounds per game (5.6).
2018-19: Vaughn appeared in 27 games as a freshman. She averaged 6.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Vaughn shot 28.3 percent from the floor, 23.1 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 64 percent from the free throw line. She scored a season high 18 points against Kansas Wesleyan University and had a season high six rebounds twice with the last being against Haskell Indian Nations University.
High School: Vaughn lettered in basketball, volleyball, and softball at Summer Academy of Arts and Science. She was named Class of 2018 Best Athlete Sumer Academy, 2018 Kansas All-State Second Team, 2018 Kansas All-Class Second Team, 2018 KCAL Player of the Year, earned All-Academic All-League honors, was named 2017 All-League Second Team, earned KCAL in 2016, was 2015 KCAL First Team, and was named the 2015 KCAL Best Incoming Freshman.
