2020: Lance was named Second Team All-KCAC honors in a CoVID-19 shortened season. In 13 matches, he had 71 kills, a .246 attacking percentage, four assists, eight service aces, 36 digs, and 36 blocks. Lance finished the season ranked 41st in the NAIA in blocks per match (0.8).
2019: Lance appeared in 23 matches for the Braves as a junior, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. He finished the season with 136 kills, a .361 attacking percentage, 10 assists, 16 service aces, 35 digs, and 94 blocks. Lance was ranked fourth in the NAIA in blocks per set (1.09), fifth in total blocks (94), and 14th in attacking percentage (.361). Lance earned NAIA Defensive Player of the Week honors once.
2018: In his sophomore season, Lance played in 31 matches and 113 sets on his way to earning Second Team All-Conference honors. He finished the year with 150 kills, a .337 attacking percentage, 14 assists, 13 service aces, 42 digs, and 93 blocks.
2017: As a freshman, Lance appeared in 15 matches and 41 sets for the Braves. He finished the year with 39 kills, a .293 attacking percentage, three assists, eight digs, and 24 blocks.
High School: Lance lettered in volleyball and football at Spring Valley High School. He played for the Vegas Volleyball Club under head coach Robert Rios.
