Pratt Community College: In 2019-20 Long played in 25 games, making 10 starts for the Beavers. He averaged four points per game, shooting 44.7 percent from the floor, and 42.6 from behind the 3-pt line. Long scored a career high 18 points against Butler Community College.
High School: At Santa Fe Trail High School, he lettered in basketball, baseball, track, and football for the Chargers. Long was a three-time All-State and All-Conference selection (2017, 2018, 2019). He was selected to play in the 2019 KBCA All-Star Game and the 2019 SCK All-Star Game. Long was also a member of the National Honor Society.
