Biography

Sussex County Community College: Velez made second team All-Region as right wing for the Skylanders women’s soccer team. She was part of the Sussex County team that won the region final in 2019 and 2021. Also, she was part of the team that made it to the district semi-final in 2019 and 2021.

High School: Velez was impressive on the track at High Point Regional High School. In her senior year, she made the Meet of Champions (MOC) running a time of 15.13 in the 100M Hurdles. Velez made the 2019 All-Herald Girls Track & Field First Team for 100M Hurdles.

Personal: Daughter of Dax Velez and Ivette Velez…Exercise Science major…played for the club team High Point Strikers.
