Abilene Christian University: Vaughn played in three matches as a freshman at ACU. She had three digs against McNeese State University.

High School: Vaughn lettered in volleyball and softball, helping Cypress Christian High School to the program’s first appearance in the final four at the state tournament in 2017. Vaughn helped Bridgeland High School to the program’s first appearance in the second round of the state playoffs in 2020. She was the 2017 MVP for the TAPPS Spikedown Classic, a 2017 nominee for Vype’s Northwest Houston Player of the Year, a 2016 TAAPS First Team All-District selection, was named to the 2017 TAPPS 4A State Final Four All-Tournament Team, and earned 2017 TAPPS 4A All-District honors. In 2018, Vaughn was named First Team TAPPS 5A All-District, Honorable Mention TAPPS 5A All-State, and was a TAPPS 5A Academic All-State selection. She was the 2018 Cypress Christian High School team leader in kills and digs and was named MVP of the Cypress Christian High School varsity team. Vaughn was named the 2019 TAPPS Division 3 Softball Defensive Player of the Year and was a 2019 TAPPS Division 3 First Team All-District selection.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Sharon Vaughn … business administration major. Vaughn played club volleyball for the Texas Tornados under coach Bill Walton.
