2022: In her first full season as a starter at first base, Copeland was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. She hit .302, scored 27 runs, hit 12 doubles, four home runs, drove in 35 runs, had a .463 slugging percentage, walked 20 times, was hit by a pitch twice, had a .387 on base percentage, and stole four bases.
2021: Copeland made 10 appearances and had one start in the circle for the Braves. She had a record of 2-0, a 6.06 ERA, pitched in 17.1 innings, and struck out 12.
2020: Copeland played in 19 games, making 18 starts as a freshman. She had two pitching appearances, pitching in 5.2 innings, striking out four, and finishing the year with a 1.24 ERA. Opponents had a .174 batting average against Copeland. She finished the year with a .339 batting average with 20 hits in 59 at bats. Copeland hit three doubles and two home runs. She drove in 14 runs, walked four times, had one sacrifice fly, a .375 on base percentage, and a .492 slugging percentage.
High School: Copeland earned four letters in softball and three in basketball for Northwest High School. She was a three-time Academic All-District selection in both softball and basketball for the Texans. On the softball diamond in 2017-18, Copeland was named First Team All-County, First Team All-District, earned the team’s MVP Award, and was named team captain. On the basketball court, she was a Second Team All-District selection, earned the team’s MVP Award and was named team captain as junior. Copeland helped her basketball team to the 2016-17 District 6A Playoffs. Off of the playing field, she was a member of the National Honor Society and elected as CTE Ambassador for the Northwest ISC.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Sharon Copeland ... undecided on a major. She played travel ball for 18U Fusion-Gold under coaches Mark Rhine and Ronnie Hilton.
