Entering her senior season, Kippes is ranked ninth in the OU career record book in ERA (3.16).
2023: Kippes was named to the All-KCAC Teams for the second straight season with her Honorable Mention selection at pitcher for the Braves. She was named KCAC Pitcher of the Week once. Kippes played in 25 games, making 24 starts. She pitched 10 complete games, had a 3.28 ERA, finished the season with a record of 13-4, pitched two shut outs, and struck out 63 in 119.1 innings. At the plate, she hit .288 (15-52), scored 12 runs, hit three doubles, one triple, and three home runs. Kippes drove in nine runs, had a .558 slugging percentage, walked six times, and had a .362 on base percentage.
2022: Kippes was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC at designated player in her first season as a Brave. She hit .270, scored 20 runs, hit five doubles, one triple, five home runs, drove in 21 runs, had a .490 slugging percentage, walked 10 times, had a .333 on base percentage, and stole three bases. As a pitcher, Kippes made 14 appearances with five starts. She finished the year with a record of 4-3 and a 2.76 ERA. Kippes pitched in 38 innings, striking out 24.
Butler Community College: Kippes spent two seasons as a member of the BCC softball program. She helped the Grizzles to a fifth place finish at the NJCAA National Championships. Kippes was named KJCCC Pitcher of the Week in 2021 and was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for three consecutive semesters at BCC. As a sophomore, Kippes played in 28 games and made three starts. She had a record of 2-0, pitched in 49 innings, struck out 38, and had a 2.29 ERA. As a freshman, Kippes appeared in eight games and made three starts. In 13 innings, she struck out five and had a 7.35 ERA.
High School: Kippes lettered in volleyball, cheer, dance, and softball at Rossville High School. She helped the Dawgs to four straight league championships and a Kansas State Runner-Up finish. Kippes was a four-time All-MEL selection, earning First Team honors as a junior and senior. She was a two-time First Team All-State selection.
Personal: Daughter of Michelle Meyer and Aaron Kippes … exercise science major. Kippes played travel ball for Top Gun Angels under coach Scott Dial.
