2020-21: In his first season at Ottawa University, Maisberger finished with a 4-10 record overall. HIs duals record was 2-5. He earned two falls as a sophomore. His first fall as a Brave happened in the Dan Harris Scramble against Baker University. He would go on to repeat that fall in the dual against Baker.
Lindenwood University: Maisberger was a member of the men's wrestling program at no. 7 ranked Lindenwood University. He finished the season with a record of 1-6, competing in the 125 pound weight class.
High School: At Shawnee Heights High School, Maisberger lettered in wrestling, football, and track for the Thunderbirds. He was the United Kansas Conference (UKC) Wrestling Champion, a two-time Centennial League Champion, was a four-time Kansas State Wrestling Tournament qualifier, a four-time 5A regional placer, a three-time All-City selection, was a 2019 Shawnee County Winter Sports Athlete of the Year candidate an Adidas National Champion, and finished his high school career with an overall record of 127-37. As a senior, Maisberger had a record of 36-5 and was a First Team All-Academic selection. On the football field, he helped the Thunderbirds to a Centennial League, District, and Regional championship. As a member of the Thunderbird track team, Maisberger was the UKC Pole Vault Champion, earned third at the 5A Regional and was a state qualifier in the pole vault.
