Biography

Entering her senior season, Morrison has a three year record of 25-26, a dual mark of 12-9, and 17 falls and three technical falls. She is tied for third in the OU record book in career wins by weight in the 136 pound weight class (9), and eighth in career wins by weight in the 143 pound weight class (2).

2022-23: As a junior, Morrison had an overall record of 11-12. She had a dual mark of 5-1 and six falls and three technical falls. Morrison is tied for eighth in the OU record book in wins by a junior (11), fourth in single season wins by weight in the 136 pound weight class (9)

2021-22: Morrison finished her sophomore season with a record of 9-6, had a mark of 1-0 in duals, and finished with six falls. She is tied for seventh in the OU record book in single season wins by weight in the 143 pound weight class (9). Morrison earned All-KCAC honors as a sophomore.

2020-21: Morrison won five matches in her first season as a Brave, she had an overall record of 5-8 and a dual record of 5-8. She earned a third place finish at the Midland Warrior Open and fourth place at the KCAC Championships. Morrison earned four of her five wins on the season on falls. Morrison is tied for sixth in the OU record book in single season wins by weight in the 155 pound weight class (5). She earned All-KCAC honors as a freshman.

High School: At Cypress Lakes, Morrison lettered four years in wrestling under Coach Parker. She was a three-time regional qualifier and also battled her way to becoming the District Champion in 2019. In the classroom, Morrison was named to the Academic All-District Team in both 2019 and 2020.

Personal: Daughter of Derrick and Danette Morrison ... exercise science major. She can wrestle folkstyle, freestyle, and greco. Morrison has big dreams for her wrestling career and hopes one day to compete in the Olympics.
