Ottawa University

2023: Velez was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC for the second straight season. She played in 18 games and made 10 starts. Velez scored five goals and had one assist for 11 points. She took 27 shots with 19 of them on goal and tallied one game winning goal.

2022: In her second season in an OU uniform, Velez played in 18 matches and made 16 starts. She earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. Velez scored five goals and had two assists for 12 points. She took 37 shots, 29 on goal, and had two game winning goals.

2021: Velez started 15 matches, and made an appearance in all 18 of OU’s games. She was the teams' leading goal scorer, with four on the season. She also added two assists, and was fourth in minutes played (1363).

Sussex County Community College: Velez made second team All-Region as right wing for the Skylanders women’s soccer team. She was part of the Sussex County team that won the region final in 2019 and 2021. Also, she was part of the team that made it to the district semi-final in 2019 and 2021.

High School: Velez was impressive on the track at High Point Regional High School. In her senior year, she made the Meet of Champions (MOC) running a time of 15.13 in the 100M Hurdles. Velez made the 2019 All-Herald Girls Track & Field First Team for 100M Hurdles.

Personal: Daughter of Dax Velez and Ivette Velez…Exercise Science major…played for the club team High Point Strikers.
