Entering her senior season, Carrera is ranked second in the OU career record book in scoring (298), touchdowns by a quarter back (220), touchdown passes (184), rushing yards (2,282), passing percentage (.709), completions (1,012), passing yards (11,406), first in total offensive yards (13,688), and third in all-purpose yards (2,558).
 
2023: Carrera earned KCAC Player of the Year and was named First Team All-KCAC in her third season as a Brave. She was named to the NAIA Women’s Flag Football Finals All-Tournament Team. Carrera earned KCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors three times. She finished the season with 803 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. Carrera averaged 42.3 yards rushing per game. She went 389-for-542 through the air for 4,380 yards and 74 touchdowns. Carrera averaged 230.5 passing yards per game and completed 72 percent of her passes. She had two games this season where she threw six touchdown passes. Carrera threw a season high 326 yards against Kansas Wesleyan University.
 
2022: Carrera earned was named Co-KCAC MVP and Second Team All-KCAC at quarterback as a sophomore She was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week three times. Carrera went 346-for-483 through the air for 3,597 yards and 54 touchdowns. She had a passing efficiency of 166.5 and completed 72 percent of her passes. She averaged 211.6 passing yards per game. Carrera led OU in rushing with 859 yards on 125 attempts. She scored 18 rushing touchdowns and averaged 50.5 rushing yards per game. Carrera passed for a season high 316 yards and six touchdowns against Kansas Wesleyan University.

2021: Carrera was named KCAC Player of the Year, earned First Team All-KCAC, and was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week twice. In 15 games, she went 277-for-402 through the air for 3,429 yards and 56 touchdowns. Carrera had a 182 passing efficiency, completed 69 percent of her passes, and averaged 228.6 passing yards per game. She passed for a career high 351 yards, rushed for 93, and passed for six touchdowns against Kansas Wesleyan University. As a receiver, Carrera had 17 receptions for 152 yards and one touchdown.
 
High School: Carrera lettered in flag football and basketball at Riverview Senior High School. She was part of a 2019 District Championship and Regional runner-up finish. Carrera was selected to play in the All-Star Game and helped the West to two victories. She was a four-time First Team All-Conference selection, earned First Team All-State twice, was selected Second Team All-State once, and was an Honorable Mention All-State selection. Carrera was named the 2019 Hillsborough Player of the Year.
