High School: Ellis lettered in dance at Olathe South High School. She was part of NHS, a Falcon Mentor, and on the Senior Committee.

Personal: Daughter of Stacy Ellis and Rick Ellis … business administration major. Ellis has danced for over 15 years and danced competitively for nine years. She helped her team to a first place finish at Starpower Nationals. They finished with the highest scoring dance of the competition and the most entertaining.
