High School: Hoeme lettered in basketball, football, and track at Pratt High School. He was a First Team CKL All-League selection, earned Second Team All-State honors from Sports In Kansas, was a KSHSAA Honorable Mention All-State selection, and was named to the Chenay All-Tournament Team and the Winter-Jam All-Tournament Team.

Personal: Son of Dee Fletcher and Steve Hoeme ... business administration major. His brother, Karter Hoeme is also a member of the men's basketball team.
